In the mid 1990's there was a question whether or not Walt Disney was born in the United States. My media client wanted a story done regarding this.
There was no birth certificate that could be found. I had his SS-5 run. As you can see, Walt Disney had put Chicago, Illinois as the place of birth. Of particular note is his signature. One would have thought that the famous Walt Disney signature was embellished by an artist.
As you can see from the signature of Mr. Disney,this was the the way he signed his name even with the special way he made the letter "i" in Disney.
